Himlaleite is a guide company providing sustainable and unique outdoor experiences in the Ryfylke region on the south west coast of Norway. We don’t offer a fixed set of activities, but custom make every trip based upon the experience of the participants, their wishes – and what the season has to offer.

Himlaleite is located in Sand in Suldal municipality, northeast in Rogaland County. We are situated about two hours from Stavanger by car or boat, right in between Preikestolen (the pulpit rock) and Trolltunga (the troll tung). By car it is about two hours from Haugesund, four hours from Bergen and six hours from Oslo.

Himlaleite is a value-based company striving to be an alternative to traditional adventure tourism where travelers often are reduced to passive consumers. We are not in the entertainment og event business, and nature is not somewhereyou go to get entertained – it is somewhere you go to experience.

For us sustainability, low footprint and trackless travels are important ideals. We leave nothing behind and we don’t use motorized vehicles of the roads. We respect conservation zones and wildlife, and we strive to maintain a goodrelationship with local land owners, other hikers, hunters and fishermen.

We never compromise when it comes to safety. Himlaleite has in cooperatio with safety experts developed a thorough system for security management, risk assessment and contingency plans. We also cooperate with IFMGA certified guides

Respectand equality are the basis of everything we stand for, and everyone are safe and welcomed ontrips with Himlaleite.
