The idea behind Himlaleite is to make our nature accessible to visitors, whether they are looking for the big calm, the intense experience or something in-between. We want to take our guests into nature as participating and learning fellow travelers – helping them to find what they seek – creating memories for life.
To do so, it is important for us to get to know our visitors. We always start up mapping skills, experience level, time available and whishes before providing a suggestion for a trip. It could be a day trip or it could be week, it could entail a sleepover at a local hotel, in a remote cabin, a snow cave, a tent or under the open sky. As guides we are responsible for security, food and logistics, but it is still important for us to involve our guests in decision-making and to solve common tasks as we go along.
Travelling to Suldal is an experience in itself, whether you go by boat, bus or car. We cooperate with local hotels and are happy to help out planning and arranging the entire trip from - travel, food and accomodation. For us, food is also an integrated part of the experience, and we provide short travelled high quality local food on our trips. In our staff we also have a great photographer, so can leave your mobile phone at home– we will provide you with pictures from the trip!
